Our Mission
 

To foster excellence in the administration and pursuit of administrative reforms through;

 
  • Formulation of policies and laying down procedures for day to day administration and functioning of the Wakfs.
  • Ensuring that the provisions of the Wakf Act, 1995, Karnataka Wakf Rules, 1997 and all other accepted standards and norms and other important enactments / Government orders are to be followed by all Muthwallies / Managing Committees in matters relating to the administration of the Wakfs.
  • Formulating / implementing various programmes aimed at achieving the goal of the Wakf Board.
  • Improvements in the better administration of Wakfs in the State of Karnataka.
  • Promoting Citizen-friendly and Citizen-centric administration in the Wakf Board.
  • Innovations in Control, Superintendence and supervision of Wakfs in the State.
  • To fulfill the Mansha-e-Wakif.
  • Documentation and dissemination of best practices.
  • Implementing provisions of the Right to Information Act, 2005 for bringing more transparency in public affairs.
  • Lay emphasis on development of Wakf properties.

Our Commitment to Citizens with Grievances
The citizens seeking redress of their grievances with the Karnataka State Board of Wakfs, Bangalore can expect that;
  • Their grievances shall be forwarded to the relevant District Wakf Officers / Public Information Authority and they will be intimated accordingly.
  • Visitors to our office will be treated with courtesy and heard patiently to facilitate the early redressel of their grievances.
